Why is it so fast?+
Stream-copying skips re-encoding — we just rewrite the container with new in/out points. Quality is identical to the source.
Can I cut frame-accurately?+
Stream-copy snaps to the nearest keyframe. For frame-accurate cuts, enable re-encode mode (slower).
Which formats are supported?+
MP4, MOV, WebM, MP3, WAV, M4A, FLAC, OGG.
Is my file uploaded?+
No — the cut happens locally with ffmpeg.wasm.
Can I cut out a middle section instead?+
Cut twice (before and after the section you want to remove), then use Merge media — that workflow is coming.
